Woodland a small town in Washington and hosts an event called Planters Day which is a 5 day festival. It starts Thursday with a carnival by Horseshoe Lake that runs the entire festival. Friday night the local bar “Sproos” was celebrating their one year anniversary while the tattoo shop called The Bond Tattoo Society next door had a raffle going to raise money for the local book store. While I didn’t take part in the raffle I did enjoy a few ciders from Sproos. Saturday there was a parade in the morning that runs the length of their main street straight through the town. Saturday I took part in getting tattooed by Tyler who is the manager of The Bond Tattoo Society. I was also able to enjoy more festivities afterwards. Sunday was the car show which would see the main street in woodland (which is Goerig St. and Davidson Ave) blocked off for the car show. The street was lined on both sides of the road with old american classics, hotrods, and even a few modern day cars. The side streets were even filled with more muscle cars just showing up to show of their rides. Now this is what I came for, eye candy every which way I looked. It was a great turn out to say the least. This was the first time I attended this event and I was lucky enough to go multiple days. I will for sure be making another showing next year!
